What is Ratatouille?
Ratatouille is a new gourmet destination in Magog in the Eastern Townships. It is designed as a place where food lovers, connoisseurs, and those who are simply curious about local cuisine can share their passions and learn something new.
Through our cooking, wine, mixology and coffee workshops, tastings and encounters with local artisans, we offer experiences that involve learning, exploring and savouring the products of the Townships’ terroir. Our workshop area can be booked for small, private groups and the deli section offers a selection of tasty, ready-to-eat dishes, privately imported wines and local products.
A warm, welcoming space, Ratatouille is a veritable gourmet hub where food lovers intermingle, creating memorable moments through their love of good food and drink!
Why Ratatouille?
Ratatouille is all about the pleasures of eating and drinking well! It’s also about getting together with other like-minded souls, to learn and perfect the art of gastronomy—a melting pot of food-related activities under one roof, where gourmets can gather to share their passion for food.
Our regular guests at Bistro 4 Saisons and other PAL+ experiences would sometimes come up with some special requests—take-away meals, recommendations about how to produce a meal at home for large groups of people, privately imported wines and so on. They also expressed an interest in attending cooking classes and workshops. We realized there was a gap in the market and that’s what inspired us to create Ratatouille!
Who is Behind Ratatouille?
Ratatouille is the 9th establishment operating under PAL+, a company that offers authentic tourist experiences in the Eastern Townships. It is the brainchild of the same team that operates Bistro 4 Saisons, a landmark Orford restaurant that has served the public for 18 years.
Pierre and Thierry and their team wanted to give their guests the opportunity to enjoy a taste of the B4S experience in their own homes. They have always taken great pleasure in sharing their passion for good food and wine, as well as passing on their expertise to others. That was how the concept of a gourmet destination was born and now the time has finally arrived… Ratatouille is ready to welcome you!
